As if the dead weren't enough to deal with, the Mariners are now up against the Disciples of the Deep Ones, a group of drugged out fanatics who believe the tellings of H.P. Lovecraft are real.

Toby hadn't slept in over twelve hours, his hunger keeping him up no matter how hard he tried to stay asleep. After an hour of just laying there with his stomach growling he got up to look for food. Leaving his makeshift tent and grabbing his weapons, AK on his back and Hatchets on his hips. He pulled his goggles down and his mask up as he made his way through the woods listening for anything that he could eat. Since he didn't want to go to far from his tent he tried to stay within a mile radius of it.
After having no luck for about thirty minutes he went out further. Hearing a few branches snapping a low moan he turned toward the noise, a walker had gotten itself impaled by a broken tree branch. He sighed, shoulder ticcing he walked over to it quietly. Lucky thing he was behind him as he got closer he pulled one of the hatchets from its holder and drove it into the undeads head. Pulling it out he wiped the blood on his jacket and put it back where it belonged.
Grunting lowly as his neck ticced he headed further out to see if he could get anything. He heard a noise behind him and hid behind a tree peeking out to see what it was, a person who hand't noticed him. He cocked his head and pulled his hatchet out. Watching them very carefully. His hand ticced and he dropped the axe, it landed with a thump and he hid behind the tree again holding his breath
How did I end up here? Reid felt as though he was constantly asking himself that question. He was always looking for safe places to hide out, and this time the only place he could find was the woods. Not that many people would have died and ventured into the words, right? That was what he kept telling himself to justify his decision.
He felt like he had been walking for hours, just trying to find any place at all to take cover. His legs were past the aching point and reaching the point where they kind of just started to feel like jello. He almost just felt like giving up. He had a backpack full of canned food he'd stolen off the body of some unfortunate soul with a crushed head. It hurt to know that his luck was someone else's horrible incident.
Reid heard something not too far that caught his attention. It sounded as though something had... dropped? He wasn't entirely the brightest, so his first instinct was to speak. "Hello?" His voice was loud and he was still trying to pinpoint where the sound was coming from. His lip twitched when he realized it might have been a walker and that he probably just alerted him.
Reid looked around, suddenly very frantic. When no walkers came, he took a deep breath and continued to walk in the direction he assumed he'd heard the thump from. He reached the tree someone was unknowingly behind and started to peer around it.

Toby was trying to stay as still as posible, He heard a voice cal out and groaned. The voice was loud which sort of annoyed him, there could be other walkers around adn the boy just alerted them to him.
He tilted his head to the side when he heard footsteps coming closer slowly moving to pick up the hatchet. When he did he can face to face with the boy that had called out. Jumping back he gripped the hatchet. "C-can I help you" He said as his head ticced to the side voice muffled under the mask.
He was being cautious around the other boy though he was pretty sure he could take him down if he tried anything.
Reid's entire body jumped when he saw the boy in front of him. He flinched at the sight of the hatchet. The mask wasn't helping this situation not look frightening to him.
Most people would have drawn their weapon here. Not Reid. He put his hands up like it was just an instinct to do so (which for him, it was) and took two giant steps backwards, hoping this guy wasn't going to lunge at him. His lip quivered slightly, but he still felt safer than he did around a walker. Mostly because he was sure this guy was just trying to protect himself. As long as he didn't look threatening, he'd be safe, right? The idea of that didn't make him any less scared.
"Please don't hurt me..." Stupidly, Reid squeezed his eyes shut and turned his head a little to the side, almost like he half expected this to be the end of him right here. Thoughts were battling in his brain about whether or not this guy had it in him if he really did feel threatened. Tag: Tobias "Toby" Wells

Toby titled his head and grinned inder his mask, the boy was.. cute. He looked like a freightened animal it made Tobs feel a little bad that he scared him. Putting his hatchet back where it belonged he straightened up and pushed the goggles up.
His dull green eyes skimming over the boy. "Not gonna hurt you." He said "I just wanted to know what you were ddoing here-" His neck ticked to the side "Y-You can relax" He said a grunt in between the first and second part of the sentence.
He stepped closer to the boy holding his ungloved hand out. "Hey, I'm Toby" He said, not wanting to scare the boy even more he kept his mask on, he was a little self-conscious of the gash anyway. _________ Reid Pierce
Reid kept his eyes closed as he listened to the words spoken. When he said he wasn't going to hurt him, Reid opened up one eye almost as if he was checking to see if it was really safe. He noticed the grunt and the neck tick, but didn't entirely realize why they were occurring. It spiked curiosity, which caused him to open his other eye.
Looking at the dull green eyes the googles relieved, Reid tried to figure what what was in them. What were they hiding? They didn't look evil. In fact, they seemed kind. Reid seemed to think everyone had kind eyes however, so it was something his opinion didn't count too much for.
He stepped closer, and Reid's foot lifted up almost as though he was about to take a step back. He stared at his hand for a few moments before putting his foot down and decided it was okay. "Reid." He shook the boy's hand way too gently and then looked up at his covered face. What was behind the mask? Why was he wearing it? Did he just want to keep bugs out of his mouth?
Reid crossed his arms self consciously and looked over at the boy he'd just run into. "I'm sorry if I came across your hide out... I was just..." He paused for a moment. "Well, I don't know..." That was the truth. He really didn't know what he was doing. Reid reached up and brushed a piece of his own hair out of his eye. "Is it okay... if I just go around you? I really didn't mean to disturb you." His words were incredibly awkward, and he had no idea what he was supposed to do in this situation.
