Minutes turned to hours as they walked through the woods, Sophia's knee had begun hurting about twenty minutes prior but she pushed through, For the sake of getting away from the area as fast as possible she pushed. Each step carried pain, Not excruciating but enough to Notice and it caused her to wince every now and again. After about twenty more minutes she was nearly at her limit but luckily Tobi had suggested resting to look at the map, which gave her the perfect opportunity to rest. "Alright, But just for a few minutes. I hate the woods." She said as she looked behind them, then to their sides before turning back to the direction they were heading.
Veering off slightly she took up a seat on a stump nestled between two tree's, each having it's trunk so close they nearly looked like the same tree. Lifting her right leg off the ground slightly she rubbed it as she waited for Tobi to figure out where they were. If he found the school he'd just have to follow it south slightly and he'd probably find it but Sophia didn't know this, She just knew that people that wanted to hurt her were one way and so she would go the other. Continuing to rub her knee she looked around the area once more. Nothing special by any stretch, More tree's, more dimly lit green natural canvas. "So, on the other side of these woods. What is there? Town? Farm? More nothing?" she asked wondering if he had noticed her rubbing her knee, Hoping her traveling companion wouldn't start babying her if he had she quickly stopped and set her foot back on the ground. It still hurt slightly but a few moments off it here and there always did wonders and even now the pain was fading. "I don't know this area by heart but I've gotten somewhat decent at knowing the way the moon and sun rises and sets so if I'm thinking right, when we left we headed south. I gave that map a quick glance before and I think I remember seeing a farm or something along those lines on the other side. Was I right or am I imagining stuff?" she asked, keeping her voice quiet even now out of habit she never raised it passed a whisper.
Rubbing her knee for a few more moments she stood up and put weight on it again, not super but it'd last for at least a few more hours. And if she was in fact right about what was on the other side of the tree's then they'd surely be able to hide out in the barn or something of the farm house. Even if it was inhabited people have to sleep some time. With that thought she waited for Tobi, Sitting back down as he mulled over the map she couldn't help but be a little happy, Even just a little. I'm not alone anymore.
