Keeping her eyes cast in a half glance back at the young girl as she led her to the makeshift camp they were hold up in for the night Ayita took notice of how the girl still looked slightly scared, even if her gesture seemed to have some effect it didn't seem to do the entire trick. Letting her pace fall as to allow the girl to catch up Ayita followed her form as she grew closer and steadily leveled with her in pace. Noticing that she was scribbling something in a small black book Ayita stifled the urge to ask her what it was, Maybe a diary of sorts? Everyone has their own thing Ayita shrugged after the thought came and went.
Reaching the boarder of the camp Ayita turned her attention to Ziggy who was still laying on the small bed Ayita had made. "Sit." Ayita said looking back to Sara and motioning towards the patch of ground near the smoldering fire. Setting her bow next to her pack that lay near Ziggy's head Ayita unsheathed her hatchet and went to work on cutting some of the branches off the long felled tree that lay half covered in leaves, The pale moonlight making a ballet of shadows on her hands and body as she worked her way through some of the protruding branches; Letting them fall in a heap at her feet she waited for the stack to reach her shin before returning her hatchet to its holster. Scooping the wood up she returned to where Ziggy and the new girl now sat and tossed a handful of wood into the fire, waiting for it to grow into a warm glow before setting the remaining to the side. "You can have those if you want, I made them for her but she won't eat right now, Not that I blame her." Ayita spoke with her hand gesturing to the two cooked rabbits on the makeshift plate she had left about ten minutes ago, "Might be a tad cold but they're cooked through so dig in if you'd like." Ayita moved to Ziggy after that and began to go to work on checking her wounds as she heard Sara begin to speak in the unsure tones she had before. Am I that scary? Ayita thought as she glanced down at her clothing as the girl continued her story about her family and where she had come from. Ayita nodded as every word met her ears, Taking the jacket from the girl she pulled it over Ziggy's body before returning to sit across from Sara. "You're a long way from home usdi saquu (little one)" Ayita spoke with a sense of concern and worry.
Pulling her knee's to her chest Ayita watched the flicker of the fire, felt the warmth of it's heat in the still night air while her hand gripped the grass that lay underneath her as Sara finished her story "Family is everything." Ayita spoke softly but with conviction as she heard Sara wrap up before adding "It hurts being alone, I know." in a low whisper, just loud enough for her own ears to register the words as she thought of her own family that may or may not still be alive. "Thank you, I wasn't exactly planning on nursing a car crash victim just after sewing up a bear trap." She laughed sarcastically for a moment before hearing her offer to look at her book but Ayita knew that there wouldn't be anyone in there of note to her and so shook her head. "You wouldn't have met anyone I know, The Uyohusiv took the few people I knew around here, everyone else moved a long time ago." She explained, the somber tones creeping from her vocal cords before she turned to look back to Ziggy, "She might though, Don't know. Maybe after she wakes up you can ask her, and we can get some medicine into her to help the pain."
