Overall Personality: Sara is a strange one for starters. She was always a weirdo and was proud of being different instead of being normal. She is passionate about her views yet she is afraid to stand up for herself when push comes to shove. Since the outbreak she has embraced being herself yet she shows kindness to complete strangers believing that humanity should stick together rather then crumble apart. She is rather shy around men preferring to go to a woman for help. She is also something of a genius being the smartest one in her class and tends to spend her time making things rather then socialize.
Even Though Yesterday's Gone
History: Sara Ramirez grew up in Bar Harbor, Maine to a loving and caring family. Her dad Marco was a sheriff while her mother Camilla owned a small coffee shop in town. Growing up Sara had a hard time fitting in with people and would mostly either spend time writing stories, reading books, or playing with her younger sister Maria. In school she was often teased and bullied never standing up for herself as she didn't want to cause problems between her parents who were having troubles in their marriage at the time. She put up with being a punching bag all throughout her years in high school and even after it never stopped. She got a job working with her mother but in order to make money she sold her drawings and paintings on the side.
She even won first place for best artist at the fair in Portland. She seemed to find her passion but even then she was still getting tormented daily to the point where she was having dark thoughts and panic attacks from it. Her dad took a vacation for two weeks to look after Sara as she had an episode while at work but shortly after he was called back in as strange attacks were happening around town. Shortly after her mother closed the shop and they all stayed home for the time being. She snuck out of the house with Maria and they both witnessed a wooden fence being built up followed by her dad and Abraham Faraday protecting the workers by stabbing what seemed to be sick people trying to attack them. She watched in horror and as she did she started to run back home with Maria when she heard a load boom. Soon after that everything seemed to be peaceful until a coop happen with Richard Fogarty took over with them taking over she lived in fear finding it hard to leave her house some days that was until her father Marco came up with a plan to have them escape.
Sara was absolutely terrified as was the rest of the girls but she was surprised by her father as after Abraham's execution he joined Richard and his men but he explained to her that this was part of his plan to get that man to trust him before making his move. The family had their dinner and then after that they made their move going down to the docks everything seemed perfect sneaking in and hiding but as Sara hid in the boat one of Richard's men spotted Marco, Maria and Camilla making a break for it. So as Marco began shooting to cover his family Camilla cut the rope but before Maria could get on she was shot in the leg and fell into the water. Sara screamed for her family as she drifted away and she was on the boat for a few with barely an food but had bottles of water and as she ended up on land she walked over to a nearby lifeguard post and found a map.
She saw that she was in Hampton Beach in New Hampshire and as she tried to get her bearings to try and get back home she figured she would have a better time on land instead of going out to sea and getting lost. She found a car and drove to Vermont thinking it's better to stock up on supplies and trade the supplies for her family. She found an empty Ruger Security Six and a knife in the car and was sleeping in a nearby building when she heard a scuffle outside happen. She got out her notebook and began writing what she saw as she figures these stories would one day be important.
