Mikayla is a good-natured, sweet girl who cares about everyone and everything but has a rage inside her ever since her husband, a deputy, was murdered along with the sheriff. That day a flame ignited in her eyes that won't go out until she kills Everett, the man who took her husband's life. Mikayla is driven and knows how to get the job done and will stop at nothing to see a task through. Her emotions sometimes get the better off her, whether it is sorrow, anger or rage.
Even Though Yesterday's Gone
History:
Mikayla was born in Bar Harbor and was pretty much raised in her parents restaurant, working out there since a young age and becoming quite skilled in the culinary art. She married straight out of high school with her boyfriend Ryan, who became a deputy for the local sheriff's office. As she was getting prepped to take over her parents' restaurant, Mikayla followed courses in the local community college.
Just before the apocalypse, Mikayla got pregnant and even though everything went well for a couple of months, she misscarried right before the dead rose and was helped out of the hospital by Marlene Faraday, an ER nurse and the wife of Abraham Faraday, the town's sheriff.
After the world went to hell, Mikayla helped organize the town into a safe harbor and became responsible of the kitchen and to keep everyone fed. However, during the betrayal of Big Dick and his coup d'etat, Mikayla's husband was the first one to get killed by Big Dick's goons, more specifically by a man named Everett. Even though she wanted to exact revenge, Mikayla was able to keep her composure, swallow her rage for the time being and stayed in town rather than to flee with Claudia into the woods figuring she could be Claudia's eyes and ears inside the town.
Mikayla has then since been a spy for Claudia, feeding information to Claudia's group and doing what she can for the people still left in Bar Harbor. Mikayla also was best friends with Mallory, being one of the last people to have contact with her and awaiting her return to Bar Harbor.
