Overall Personality: Due to her illness she is completely oblivious to the outside world. She can be super happy one moment but when something happens she doesn't like she can cry for hours. She acts like a 5 year old due to the trauma she suffered. She is easily scared but if she is pushed beyond her limits she ignites in a rage and is likely to kill someone.


History:

Chloe was born in Bar Harbor and had a relative normal youth. However, as a child she fell into a livewell for fish aboard a boat and was traumatized by it, scared of going even near the ocean for many years to come. Her family however failed to recognize that she had a tendency to develop mental illness. Apart from being terrified of fish, Chloe functioned as a normal person throughout her teenage years, doing well in school and had a knack for gymnastics which she was devoted to. She was also a cheerleader during her time in high school and seemed to be a normal teenage girl.

However, one night her boyfriend was driving her home and they got hit by a drunk driver. The crash was tremendous and when Chloe came to, her boyfriend's severed head was laying on her lap. It was sat she didn't stop screaming until paramedics tranquilized her, not even when the local fire department worked to cut her out of the wreckage.

After an extensive stay in the hospital recovering from her injuries, Chloe was brought to the psychiatric ward after it seemed she was losing more and more grip on reality, even acting like a child in the rare occasions that she spoke. Although she had no actual brain damage, Chloe talked and acted like a 5 year old. She was in and out of mental institutions all over New England for over a decade but was luckily home when the dead started to rise.

When all the others coped with living in the apocalypse it seemed like Chloe was oblivious to the world changing. Luckily her parents were able to teach her that she had to avoid getting bit or touched by the 'monsters' aka the dead and never leave the town. Luckily after Bar Harbor got organized, there was always someone to watch her.

After Big Dick's betrayal Chloe was taken prisoner as a way of controlling her mother, Marlene, who still is the only medical professional in the town. And as an insurance policy should Chloe's sister Mallory or her brother Quinlan return to exact revenge on Big Dick for killing their father. Keeping Chloe prisoner is also a means of pacifying the local youth living in the woods, keeping them from seriously acting out against Big Dick and his goons. Chloe is also the personal plaything of Spiff, Big Dick's son, who abuses her sexually.

Although plans have been made to free both Chloe and her mother, it is unknown where the both of them are being kept. Chloe herself is being kept in a room along with some toys that has no view of the outside world.
