Overall Personality:Before the outbreak Daniel was a quiet yet friendly guy who enjoyed hanging out with his friends although he could be consider the shy one of the group. He keeps to himself but he was always vocal if someone was messing with his friends. He has had a messy love life and has his guard up around females but overtime if he gets to know them he lets his guard down. Since the outbreak he has cutoff almost everyone completely expect a few friends but still he keeps his guard up around them making his behavior seem aggressive and reckless. He is a night owl and prefers to stay up most of the night.





History: Daniel was born in Cologne, Germany to an Italian father and a Germany mother, he also had an older brother. Growing up he learned very quickly not to talk back to his father who came home reeking of alcohol with his buddies from the bar. His father worked in construction while his mother worked as a bartender. His older brother Franco worked as a dealer selling drugs and even guns at one point. His father was ashamed of him and kicked him out of the house when he was sixteen. He rarely saw his brother after that. But Daniel knew he needed money and he knew he needed it quick. So at the age of fourteen he decided to see his brother and work for him dealing in dimebags and the small stuff. He was making so much money that he didn't know what to do with it.

One day his mother was cleaning up his room and found six hundred euros. When asked about the money he didn't answer but when his father asked he caved in and so his father beat him. He was in one of his drunken rages so his mother tried to intervened and she got hit for it as well. It only got worse with time and with Daniel being more rebellious towards his father she feared the worst as she knew it was only a matter of time. The final straw was when Marcello beat Daniel in front of his friends at a house party because he accidentally knocked a drink out of his hand. Fearing for not only her life but Daniel's as well she packed their bags and left in the middle of the night deciding to start a new life in Aachen, Germany. He enrolled into a new high school and he was nervous starting his first day and mostly kept to himself until he was met Vivien Krause. He was shy around her but when she invited him to a party he let loose and quickly made friends. He met his best friend Til Waltz at a party and the two of them were inseparable. Til was a party animal while Daniel was let loose every now and then but he mostly kept to himself. He met the rest of Vivian's friends including Ziggy and Gitte. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and going to punk shows with them. He even was was doing good in school and got a job working at a hotel with Til.

During one of the parties he went to he met and fell for a girl named Diane Vogel. She was a very pretty girl and she knew she had Daniel wrapped around her finger. She would use him have him go buy her lunch, hangout with him only to use him for shopping. After a month he told her how he felt about her and she shut him down right then and there. That was when he felt like an idiot that he didn't see the signs that everyone else saw and he went to parties becoming reckless as he would fight. He soon started to shut everyone out including Til. He dealt with his pain the only way he knew how with drinking. He eventually got over Diane and became part of the group again as he apologized to everyone. When Ziggy left to go to America for college he was sad to see her go and gave her a Keychain as a gift. A month after Ziggy left Daniel got a visit from the police who informed him of his father's death. It would seem that he was murdered and the police were looking for his brother Franco. Daniel was surprised by the news but soon enough one day at work Franco came to see him and brought him a gift in a brown paper bag. When asked why he did it Franco told him that he needed to pay for what he had done to everyone in the family. When he got home from work Daniel opened the brown paper bag and saw that a gun and some euros were in it. Daniel kept the bag under his bed.

His mother kept a rifle in her closet but he had never seen her use it not once. He figured it was one of her purchases she made when she was drunk. But she shortly passed away after a mugger stabbed her while robbing her and his brother got in a shootout with police and died. He felt truly alone but he had his friends Til and the rest of the gang to keep him company. When the dead started to rise luckily Germany was quick enough to act on the situation and Aachen became a Safe Zone. He maintained his distance with a few of his friends as he doesn't want to get attached to many people. But he has started to grown feeling for Gette even though he is trying to push those feelings away. Most nights he is on the roof of his house smoking and drinking as he looks up at the stars.
