Frank and the Hell-Riders were living like kings as they rode in and cleared Old Orchard Beach of the Skinwalkers. It took time but Frank never doubted his men and once they cleared it they began settling in hoping to build their own slice of heaven in this world. Some of the locals feared them while others joined up to earn a better life for themselves. Frank was at the Pier and was sitting pretty when his second in command Kurt came in behind him was one of the locals who had proven herself, her name was Alice. Frank sat in his leather chair smoking a cigarette as Kurt and Alice came in.
"Hey you two! How's everything going?" asked Frank as he took a few drags off his cigarette. Kurt took a seat while Alice decided to stand.
Kurt then cleared his throat before speaking up. "So we got barricades set up so the dead is going to have a hard time getting in and Fat Toby brought in some survivors. They didn't have much on them so he is putting them to work. The group he brought in had a kid with them so I decided to give him an easy job like sweep up the floors." said Kurt to Frank who rolled his eyes as he took a drag off his cigarette not giving a damn about the kid and feeling slightly annoyed as he felt it was just another mouth to feed. "Yeah well I want you to put that kid on beach duty starting now." said Frank to Kurt who shook his head lightly at Frank. "But Frank he is just a kid-" said Kurt before he was cutoff by Frank. "Did I stutter? Have the kid on beach duty or I'm tossing him out." said Frank in a calm but serious tone. Beach duty was simple take care of the dead that washed up on shore yet it was a somewhat tiring job due to the long hours and being out there during the cold weather.
Kurt just nodded deciding not to press the matter further and that's when Annie spoke up. "Going on a run with Johnson and Gill, they talked about a ranch up in Patten and said that it's possible that livestock could be there. If that's true then we could come back with some horses and I could break them in." said Annie to Frank who chuckled and smirked at the woman. "You break horses?" asked Frank to Annie who had a slight smirk on her face. "I broke Colts a few years ago, riding is all in the hips." said Annie to Frank who chuckled. "Is Bar Harbor near this place?" asked Frank as he looked at Annie. "Well...Not really but I doubt we will run into Mallory and her gang." said Kurt to Frank who looked at him. He thought over it and after a few moments of silence he looked at Kurt and then Annie. "Alright I'll allow it. But Annie I want you to take Warren and a few of the others just in case." said Frank to Annie who rolled her eyes as she had a dislike for Warren as he tried to get with her yet she knocked his ass out in the bar when he grabbed her ass. "Fine whatever." said Annie under her breath. Soon Kurt and Annie left and Frank sat at the end of the Pier as he was happy that things were looking up for the Hell-Riders for once.
