Even Though Yesterday's Gone
History: Tammi Lynn was born in Birmingham Alabama as a result of her mother, a heroine addict, prostituting herself to pay for her habit. When she was just three years old, her mother overdosed and died and with no known father Tammi Lynn ended up in foster care. She was abused in almost every foster home she was placed in, and was even raped by one of the parents when she was a teenager. She was constantly reminded that she was the daughter of a heroin addict and was called trash so many times she started believing it herself and acting like it.
Tammi Lynn dropped out of high school and attended beauty school, but she never finished it. Around that time she got into a relationship with a meth dealer and started working as a stripper, slowly learning to manipulate men. She would often have sex with married men and blackmail them later on. Tammi Lynn's boyfriend was a small time crook but dreamed of becoming a big time drug dealer, and was keen on inventing his own designer drug. During this process Tammi Lynn would help him and slowly but steadily learned to cook drugs herself. At some point, she and her boyfriend created a powerful hallucinogen which her boyfriend discarded, but Tammi Lynn saw the potential. She used it to manipulate men out of their money by drugging them and using the power of suggestion but at some point she became too bold and was arrested when she tried to drug an undercover cop.
Tammi Lynn was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison, where once more she was used and abused by the other female inmates who were jealous of her beauty and youth. Tammi Lynn was passed around and often raped by the other women which immensely scarred her psychologically. She was released on parole after two years behind bars after showing good behavior and the motivation to be rehabilitated. By now however her drug dealer boyfriend had a new girlfriend but Tammi Lynn did manage to hide the formula for the hallucinogen before she was arrested. She left with the formula, but not before throwing an acidic substance in her boyfriend's new girl's face.
Tammi Lynn spent the next few weeks on the lamb, being wanted by law enforcement for mutilating the other girl and not checking in with her parole officer, and it was almost an act of God when the world ended and she became free forever. She made it as far as Florida, where she was accepted in a community and practically turned over a new leaf even meeting a new man and feeling happy for a time. However, at one point the community was decimated by raiders from the Caribbean, and Tammi Lynn ended up raped again and left for dead.
That's when the fuse in her head finally melted. She became almost catatonic-like and was brought on board a ship by the other survivors with its final destination Northern Canada. But it would never reach its destination. One night aboard the ship, when a man took advantage of her catatonic-like state to feel her up, Tammi Lynn ignited in a rage and killed him. But she didn't stop there; she became so out of her mind that she killed everyone on board and later dumped them in the ocean.
With no idea how to control a ship, Tammi Lynn finally ran aground on a small island off the coast of Maine, where the simple, old-fashioned inhabitants of the island welcomed her as some kind of savior, with Tammi Lynn saving them from famine. Seeing the potential of such reverance, Tammi Lynn started acting like their savior, as some sort of chosen one, and after performing some 'miracles' (otherwise known as simple science experiments), Tammi Lynn eventually got people convinced she was sent by a god. Along with the help of her own mixture of hallucinogen, she was able to convince the gullible people of the island that she served an ancient deity called Dagon, and other ancient ones. With the island community being practically cut off from all things modern, people had hardly heard of H.P. Lovecraft novels, however in case they did Tammi Lynn wrote him off as a prophet, who once had foretold the coming of Dagon.
Eventually, Tammi Lynn's newly created religion took off (mostly thanks to her hallucinogen which played on the power of suggestion) and people devoted themselves to her and Dagon and Tammi Lynn finally got what she wanted; power over everyone with her being in control of everything. With a small army at her disposal, Tammi Lynn who is now more commonly known as The High Priestess, comes to the mainland in search of communities to conquer and other souls to convert to the one 'true' god; Dagon.
