As if the dead weren't enough to deal with, the Mariners are now up against the Disciples of the Deep Ones, a group of drugged out fanatics who believe the tellings of H.P. Lovecraft are real.

You know what always bugged me about The Walking Dead Games was the fact that they said that your choices matter but then there were bits in the games that didn't matter choice that I can think of SPOILERS obviously:
Saving Carley and Doug - Both don't change the story that much just you tell people you were going to jail before the outbreak as Lee if Carley survived. But then in Episode 3 both die regardless kinda defeats that choice.
Cutting off Lee's arm or not - I mean this one I get why they went the route they did because they wanted to give players hope and they wanted everyone to experience the sadness of Lee dying but I just wish if you chose to chop off his arm he could have survived until the next season but they wanted to go the Clementine only route which was clearly the better narrative wise.
Choosing Kenny or Jane at the end of Season 2 - This one was the one that pissed me off the most I mean both die so Clementine is by herself in Season 3 but why though it kind of gets rid of the whole point of choosing the person Clem could stay with and have them die in the following season without much screen time.
Saving Ben in Season 1 - Again another one where you save someone and it doesn't matter in the long run Ben still dies, yes it gives you the scene with Kenny trying to save Ben proving that he didn't have a grudge but then they did the same thing when Ben was dead with Christa so regardless Kenny 'sacrifices' himself.
There are other choices which I could add but these were always the ones that bugged me.

I think I heard a theory about due to the stress of Omid's Death that Christa might have had a miscarriage and if not that it probably would have either been hunger or walkers. It sucks that Telltale never delved deeply into that but they gave up on Christa and Omid quite quickly like they did with Chuck because the dude was only around for one episode and disappeared before turning up dead. I was never to fussed about Omid's death it added a cool aspect in how unexpected death could be in the outbreak but the fact you lost Christa immediately afterwards was really annoying for me.
And I mean I definitely remember seeing a less greyish Lee at the end of Season 1 in that scene but I was just wondering what would have happened if they had two separate stories for Season 2 the same things would happen but they would have one with Lee alive as the MC and one where Clementine was the MC. Would have added more replay value

You should definitely check out The Dark Pictures anthology if you haven't already. Choices make the difference between life and death and characters matter if you keep them alive, not like e.g. Nick in The Walking Dead where if you keep him alive he hardly has any dialogue anymore.

Oh yeah I've played all three of those games and I can definitely see why it would change the story a lot. Because every character has unique dialogue depending on who dies and the minor choices have big impact in the future.
