Ready to cut loose

Logan was at his desk typing away at his computer as he was finishing up on some reports. It was trivial stuff but it needed to be done and once he got that out of the way well it was time to get some beers. "Hey guys when is Romero getting back from vacation?" asked Sophie to her coworkers. James and Calvin were having a conversation about pizza or wings after work when they heard Sophie's question. The two of them shrugged and Calvin tapped Cody on the arm to get his attention and off his phone as he was watching YouTube videos. Cody broke out of concentration and it took him a minute to process the question. "Uhh...I heard he was coming back soon...Yeah soonish." said Cody to Sophie as he went back to his phone. She let out a heavy sigh and looked to Logan who just let out a light chuckle. "Don't look at me I hardly talk to him." said Logan to Sophie with a smirk. She rolled her eyes and as she did their Captain walked in. Captain Shawn Larson cleared his throat as he entered the room and clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.



"Alright team listen up! I just want to say I'm proud of you all for your hard work on busting that heroin operation that was happening in Pinecrest. Now I say you guys deserve some time off and relax but I've been getting strange reports of people supposedly going cannibal." said Larson to his team who looked confused yet concerned at what they were hearing. "Must be some kind of new drug being made, but seriously guys I want you to be safe tonight. Alright dismissed." said Larson to his team. Sophie and the others grabbed their stuff and were ready to head out the door. A few of them left but she noticed Logan was at his desk still. "You coming to McGinty's?" asked Sophie to Logan who looked back at her. "Yeah I'll catch up with you in a bit. Just want to finish this last report." said Logan to Sophie who smiled at him. "Alright see you there." said Sophie as she left. Logan finished up his last report in about twenty minutes and grabbed his jacket as he was ready to head to the bar. Once he clocked out he ran into Jack Gelzer who was having a cigarette outside. "Hey Jack heading over to McGinty's now with some of the others want to join?" asked Logan to Jack who shook his head. "Gunna take a rain check on that, I just wanna crash but next time I promise." said Gelzer to Logan who nodded and left to head over to McGinty's.
