A Mexican, an Indian and a German walk into a town...
Seemed like the beginning of a bad joke with an even worse punchline in which the German would end up delivering it, yet here they were for real in the street of a North Carolinian town that they didn't even knew the name off. It was just another token American town to Ziggy. Seemed like there was a wider variety in Germany, only she never realized it before. She leaned over the hood of a car, using it to support her rifle, watching through the scope to eye up the deadheads that were slouching further along the way. There appeared to be no human inhabitants of the town, or if there were they were doing a good job of hiding themselves.
Ziggy looked over what appeared to be the main street of the town, where they would probably find what they needed. She could see the green cross of what used to be an apothecary and a sign that read 'garage' on it among other things. American towns tended to have at least one gun store each but so far she couldn't see anything that looked the part. In any case, seemed they shouldn't have too much problems scavenging but then again, things were never what they seemed.
"I see six deadheads in the main street." Ziggy spoke as she kept glaring through the scope. "Nothing we can't handle so far. I can see three side streets going diagonally. No telling how many there are in there though."
Ziggy came out from behind her rifle and let it rest on the hood of the car, facing Ayita and Sara.
"There's an apothecary and a garage further down the road." Ziggy said. "Also saw what looked to be an outdoor sports store and a restaurant. If we play this quiet we can check out each one. We should also clear out the garage so we have a place to hole up in until we can get a vehicle in working condition."
She gazed over the street once more before turning to Ayita and Sara again.
"Which one do you guys want to check out first?"
