At Sara's question of whether or not she could pull off the dress Ziggy just lifted one of her eyebrows and grinned. "Seriously?" Ziggy asked. "You can pull off anything, don't worry about it!"
Ziggy had noticed that Maria had been wearing an Ushanka all the time. As for it being a comfort thing, Ziggy figured maybe that's why she always wore her hair in a braid and still preferred the ragtag clothing she had worn all this time instead of the new ones she got from that sporting goods store. Although now she had a few bags full of clothes she'd love to wear.

Although now she had a few bags full of clothes she'd love to wear.
When Sara mentioned Troy however Ziggy still felt somewhat uneased. It's not that she distrusted him, he was Mallory's friend after all, but somehow Ziggy felt like he was a 'class up' from them. In all honesty Ziggy would've preferred to see Sara with someone like Brody or Thomas rather than someone who was much older than her. Troy was a 'pretty boy' and he knew all too well, Ziggy was afraid that at a certain point he would break Sara's heart.
"Hey Sara so... about him... I don't think he'd purposely hurt you or anything..." Ziggy said. "Because if he would I'm sure Mallory would hang him high from the balls before we get a chance to but..."
Ziggy looked at the floor and sighed. Was she seriously going to speech to Sara about the bad boys? She wanted to use her old boyfriend Dieter as an example but now that she thought about it, apart from speeding here and there Dieter was an angel. Now that she thought about it Ziggy realized she'd break the law more often than he would. Oh hell, did Dieter fall for her because she was a bad girl back in the day?
"You know what? Never mind!" Ziggy continued. "We got it covered. If he breaks your heart, we'll break his face. Or worse, like sacking Claudia on him by telling her he said something really mean about her. Although no, that might be too cruel. We'll just break his face!"
Ziggy smiled mischievously at her friend. Then Ellie appeared from behind the curtain and asked how she looked. Ziggy raised her chin and nodded agreeingly, then clapped as if Ellie had made a scientific breakthrough.
"You look rrrrrravishing my dear!" Ziggy said trying to muster a British accent, as far as a German could do such a thing. "But wait!"
Ziggy stepped towards Ellie and pulled the top underneath the flanel shirt a bit lower, revealing more of her chest. Ziggy gently put Ellie's hair back and inspected Ellie's neck, knowing this too was an important area. Maybe she needed something to compliment it with.
"We should get you a small necklace!" Ziggy said. "Something with a black cord and... silver or iron? Were it me I'd wear a ring on it or something tribal. Oh and some bracelets you can all wear together, or a leather cuff!"
Ziggy took both Ellie and Sara by their hands and walked them over to wear Lisa kept the accessories. Ziggy started looking for what would compliment Ellie's outfit, while maybe looking for something for herself too.
"A-ha!" Ziggy said after she found a shark tooth necklace. She kept it up to Ellie's neck and tried imagining it. "It gives you a nice tribal look. Definitely an option!"
Rummaging through some more stuff Ziggy found an iron ring with a brown cord around it that somehow looked familiar. As she studied the engraving she couldn't believe her eyes. They actually sold these for real back in the day?
"Sic parvis magna." Ziggy said. "Greatness from small beginnings. I can't believe it, you know how badly I wanted one of these back in the day!?"
"Yeah, it was a real bestseller!" Lisa said having overheard Ziggy speak. "Kids loved that videogame! I should've written a thank you to the people who made it... Ah well."
Being happy with her find, Ziggy put it around her neck. She looked at it and found it funny how you'd find things you wanted even now. She looked a bit further and saw things that were familiar to her, yet she knew when it came to necklaces you had to pick one that in a way spoke to you.
"Anyway, there's some Celtic and Viking stuff." Ziggy said. "Some more tribals and native American too. A few Christian symbols... I know you like to look at everything rationally and scientific Ellie but..."
Ziggy went to stand behind Ellie and put her hands on her shoulders.
"You know I was raised catholic, which I admit I never had too much of a relationship with." Ziggy said from behind Ellie. "And although I've always been a 'seeing is believing' kind of person too I always did like the idea of there being a more spiritual approach to things. Like necklaces for instance. Okay, so I just took a necklace because it came from one of my favorite videogames but if I wanted one to be truly meaningful I would just stand here and look at them all and wait for one to... call me so to speak."
Ziggy waved Sara over, she had more imagination than Ellie and liked to romanticize things too, even if she liked science too. Ziggy also wanted to talk to Ellie about her maybe looking further about her affection for Thomas than it just being chemicals in her brain. Maybe this would be a good exercise to begin with.
"Okay so experiment time!" Ziggy continued to Ellie. "Focus. Drop those scientific thoughts and open your mind. Look at them all and take them all in. At a certain point one of them's going to stand out and you're going to feel like it's calling you."
Ziggy then let go of Ellie and took a step back. Ellie might probably think it to be ridiculous but this was more about her opening her mind for new things instead of always looking for the rational explanation. Whether or not she'd be up to it remained to be seen.
