Shaking her head as Ziggy continued messing with a sleeping Ellie it wasn't long until her Fiancee's antics woke their friend, cracking a smile when she heard how Ellie took Ziggy's nose pinching and teasing she couldn't help but laugh at how flustered Thomas got upon being accused of feeling his girlfriend up in her sleep. "He didn't feel you up, Zigs is fucking with you." She said to Ellie which earned her a smile and a wink.
Letting the rest of her friends talk among themselves Ayita turned her attention back to the parts of the road she could see through the crack between the door and the front seat, thanks to Ziggy she had nearly completely conquered her fear of the vehicle itself but she had begun finding herself getting sick if she wasn't able to see the road ahead, something Ziggy called. 'Road Sickness'. Adjusting herself she warped her hands around her Fiancee's hips again and leaned against the window. In front of them stretched out in a winding line was their way forward, bordered by rows and rows of trees and fields she had begun to notice that the bits of nature were once again being replaced by signs of civilization, or what was at one point or another anyway. "Guys." She spoke up interrupting whatever conversation they were having. Waiting for their eyes to find her she pointed forward, "We're coming up on something." She noted.
Going quiet she listened as Brody, Ziggy and the rest discussed among themselves on what to do, looking to Ziggy she could tell she was running through their options, nearing the road block Ayita saw a number of figures step out and with it she heard Ziggy call for 'Operation Jesus Camp', which, as she recalled from the handful of times they went over it was one of the more wacky idea's her Fiancee and Thomas had come up with, from what Ziggy had told her Mallory had possibly had a hand in it as well, which, giving what it entailed, made more sense than she wanted to give it.
"Here we go." she said under her breath as Brody brought the vehicle to a stop, from the barricade she saw as a couple of figures made their way close and began to speak, One of the men introduced himself as Jim, but before he could say much more Ziggy burst into her lines which sent Ayita into her routine of balling her fists and bowing in mock prayer. Stealing glances to Ellie beside her she could tell she was trying to work something out, while she was going through her role as well she wasn't taking her eyes off the man who introduced himself as Jim, she had the same face she always did when she was searching her mind for one thing or another. And then it hit her.
"Mr. Snowling." Ellie spoke up cutting the rambling Ziggy off. "Jim Snowling. Biology." She added.
Looking through the car windows Jim let his gaze shift from one member to another before hearing a surprisingly familiar voice speak his name, his full name at that. "Holy, It can't be. El?" He asked before looking to Ziggy who had kept up the act and now mentioned the bomb, the fake one anyway, which instantly sent a jolt of fear through his body.
Seeing as tensions were high Ellie looked to Ziggy and put her hand on her friends shoulder. "You can stop, I recognize them." She whispered before looking back to Jim through the front window. "Mr Snowling, est la mère ici?" (Is Mother here?)
Understanding what Ellie had said Jim waved the rest of the men under his command down and nodded. "Oui, et elle sera ravie de vous voir."(Yes, and she will be happy to see you.)
Smiling Ellie looked to Ziggy. "Yes, I do know them. He worked with my mother and father." She answered. "We're here."
"I know, Not that I'd mind either way." Ellie answered with a stuck out tongue.
