Once the plan was set in motion Sara and Laura went down to the passengers cars further down the line. Sara entered first and was cautious as she looked around. The dead were slow moving but could easily overwhelm survivors due to their numbers in close quarters. Luckily Sara was a pro at killing them thanks to Ziggy and Ayita. Laura was right behind Sara yet she was cautious and seemingly scared as her hand was slightly trembling. Sara turned around to look at Laura and could see the look on her face it screamed uncomfortable. "Look it's not going to be that bad alright? Just stay close and watch my back." said Sara in a calm tone to Laura who nodded. Sara then killed the dead that were on the floor while Laura took care of the ones in the seats. Once they cleared a passenger car they dragged the corpses outside. One car down, two more to go. The girls worked hard in clearing the passenger cars and Sara was proud of Laura for pulling her weight. "So how many of the dead to we have left in here?" asked Laura slightly out of breath to Sara who was taking a moment to cat her breath as well.
"I would say probably seven give or take." said Sara with a shrug. The two girls continued to kill and drag the bodies out until they heard the locomotive engine roar to life. "Hey Laura we gotta step up our game!" said Sara to Laura who let out a heavy sigh. "Let's get this over with." said Laura annoyed. The two girls entered the last passenger car and Laura now took the lead which was surprising to Sara. The rich girl rushed in stabbing one in the head as one walker from the left tried to grab her yet Sara rushed over and killed it before it grabbed her. Sara was proud of the girl yet she wanted her to be more cautious when in these situations. Being reckless would only get her or someone killed and Sara wasn't going to let that happen. "Laura you gotta watch your surroundings!" said Sara to Laura as she stabbed one of the dead after another. She was angry one could see that she was taking out her frustration on the dead here she pictured that she was stabbing her mom who treated her so badly the day she was leaving. She wasn't the same girl she was before, the girl in the past was dead and Laura was somebody now. Sara just watched in disbelief as she stabbed one of the dead over and over again. Thankfully it was the last one still after they took care of the dead with tossing them outside. The two girls went back inside and Laura went into the restroom to clean herself off. She looked into the mirror and gave herself a long look as she cried. She knew that when she would go back to Bar Harbor she had no place to go. Her mom disowned her after their fight and she thought of where to stay. She didn't want to be a burden or hold anyone back yet she didn't want to tell others as she felt it was a sign of weakness. She was to proud of who she was now and so she cleaned herself up before wiping away her tears.
Once she stepped out of the restroom Sara was standing there and the Hispanic girl wrapped her arms around her. She could see that something was eating her up and no words were needed not at this moment. Sara figured she knew it was about her mom and the fight that they had before she left with the group. "You know if you want to move to a different house you can. I mean my house is available if you need a place to stay, but seriously you have us okay? I just want you to know that you aren't alone." said Sara softly to Laura. The model just smiled at her and the two embraced in another hug before Sara took Laura's hand. "Come on let's go let the others know." said Sara to Laura. Once meeting back with the others Sara gave the group a nod. "We took care of the passengers cars no problem. You guys should have seen Laura she was a badass." said Sara to Laura who smirked slightly. She looked at the others and decided now would be the best time to tell them. "I just wanted to say that...I'm grateful you guys let me in your group and I know I've been quiet on the trip but...The morning of when we were leaving my mom wasn't having it. She didn't want me to go and called Sara "the help". She then pushed her and when Sara fell on the ground...I...I bawled my fist up and punched my mom in the nose. All I'm saying is...I fear I don't have a home to get back to once we reach Bar Harbor." said Laura to her friends. She felt as if a weight had been lifted off her chest and that she could finally breathe.
