After Mallory had dismissed her, Gabby and Kellen, Kinsley had gone to the skatepark with Gabby. Kellen had told them he'd meet them later on after he changed out of his uniform. There were more town kids at the skatepark, making it almost crowdy. The warm summer night probably caused that. As they entered, Kinsley saw her younger brother Bryan and the rest of his hormonal middle-schoolers zitface friends trading what appeared to be photographs.

"Dude, I'll trade you two of these for that one!" Bryan, Kinsley's brother, spoke.

"No way dude, it's at least worth five!" Dylan, one of Bryan's friends answered.

"Oh shit Bryan it's your sister!"

Bryan and his friends quickly hid the photographs as Kinsley and Gabby came closer. Kinsley noticed but she honestly couldn't care less.

"Hey twerp! Where have you been all day?" Kinsley asked her little brother. "Slacking as usual?"

"No. And it's none of your business Kinsley!" Bryan answered.

"Hi Kinsley. How are you today my fine lady?" Toby, one of Bryan's friends greeted Kinsley.

Kinsley knew the kid had a crush on her but she was way out of his league. And she'd make sure to stay that way. Last thing she needed was some horny middle-schooler following her around all day.

"If you're calling me a lady, you must be even more desperate than I thought Toby!" Kinsley answered. "In short; you have a better chance of getting served a beer by Callie than to get in these pants! Shit, you have a better chance of getting into Callie's pants for that matter!"

"Ah my sweet Kinsley, one day I shall make you mine watch and see!" Toby answered. Worst thing about it was that he actually meant it.

Kinsley sighed in annoyance, then climbed up one of the verts and sat on top of it. Gabby sat down next to her. With all the other teens around, they both knew it would be a bad idea to discuss Dagon there.

"So you wanna hit the arcade when Maria gets back with the guys?" Gabby asked.

Kinsley shook her head. "If it's all the same for you, I think I'd like to stay outside tonight." she spoke. "We've practically been inside all day. I'd like a beer though."

"Ah we'll see what we can fix later. Too bad we can't have a cig."

"Yeah, my brother'll definitely narc."

"Hey, there's Maria! Hey Mar, over here!"

Gabby waved at Maria who just entered the skatepark. Julio and William weren't with her but Kinsley could see Maria had a bandage on her neck.

"Couldn't find Julio and William?" Kinsley asked. "Fuck happened to your neck?"

Kinsley leaned forward and extended her hand to Maria, figuring she might have trouble climbing on top of the vert and needed help. She was anxious to find out what Maria had done while they were separated.

Ziggy heard the priest speak during the service but nothing what he said came really through. She just kept looking at Ayita's cold lifeless corpse. Was she with the spirits of her ancestors, her mother and father? Ziggy knew Ayita believed in it, and she wanted too. If she did there was a chance she might see Ayita again one day. Maybe Ayita was looking over her at this very moment. If she was, Ziggy hoped Ayita would forgive her for what she was going to do. But Ziggy would seek justice for Ayita, and for Ellie and Cam too. The world didn't abide murderers before, just because there was no more real law didn't mean they had to abide murderers now. Ziggy herself had killed but that was different. She didn't go robbing and killing innocent people. She didn't go around killing people's loved ones, friends or tear apart families. Ziggy would dedicate the rest of her life making sure other people wouldn't have to suffer the loss she had suffered.

After the service was over, father Kincaid expressed his condoleances to Ziggy personally, as did many other people. Afterwards Mikayla had gently told Ziggy it was time to store the bodies for the funerals the next day. Ziggy knew that soon she'd never see Ayita, Ellie or Carmin ever again. Once the bodies were moved off, Ziggy walked out with Thomas, Brody, Sara and Laura. She needed fresh air. The smell of blood was still present in her nose and being inside didn't really help for it. Thomas and Brody helped her sit down on one of the stairs outside of the militia headquarters. It was nice to be outside, and with friends. Even if she didn't know what to say to them.

For the first time too, Ziggy could see what had happened to the Wisconsin people. They had been brought under in tents in front of the militia headquarters. Ziggy could smell food being cooked, they seemed well taken care off as well. Medics appeared to be busy giving people medical examinations. Ziggy still hoped one of them would give Magna a full cavity search though.

Ziggy needed a cigarette. And a beer. Preferably more of both. But she still felt the effects of the anaesthetic they had pumped into her pre-surgery so drinking alcohol was a bad idea. She looked at her bandaged arms. They hurt, but she wasn't going back to her hospital bed just yet.

Why did it have to be such a beautiful night?

George sat down in his chair as did Yumiko when Mallory closed the door to talk to a few teenagers about something George looked at Yumiko. One could see he was somewhat nervous as he was tapping his index finger on the arm of the chair. Yumiko noticed this and put a hand on George's shoulder. "Look George you just need to be honest with her and if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions just look at me okay?" said Yumiko in a reassuring tone to George who nodded. "Yes of course. Thank you..." said George to Yumiko as he was blanking on her name.

"Yumiko." she said to George as to remind him of her name. George just smirked followed by a chuckle and snapping his fingers as he pointed at Yumiko. "Right Yumiko." said George to Yumiko who let out a heavy sigh. 'This is off to a great start.' thought Yumiko. When Mallory came back in she got right to the point and reassured both of them that if the attackers did show up she would not surrender them which both of them were relieved to hear. When Mallory asked about why they attacked them and if they would pursue them George cleared his throat and straightened his suit up before speaking. "Well to be honest they attacked us because we ran out of supplies. It was...Beneficial in a sense we gave them our supplies and they left us alone but they cleared out most of the area and when they started asking for more then well we had to leave. I believe they wouldn't pursue us I mean I believe the attack was a last resort for them almost like...Stay out of our territory." said George to Mallory.

When the weapons were brought out and placed in front of them the two of them looked over the weapons. It was clear they the melee weapons were handmade and the gun was in terrible condition. When asked if he knew what the symbol meant he let out a heavy sigh and shook his head lightly. "I wouldn't know to be honest. Doctor Arroway knew a lot more then I did but..." said George softly as he shook his head lightly as he thought of Doctor Arroway. Yumiko then spoke up as she couldn't see George was getting lost in thought. "Doctor Arroway unfortunately took her own life after her daughter died but she did leave a book behind with some notes. I actually have it with me." said Yumiko as she stood up for a moment and pulled out a small leather book from her back pocket. Shen then handed it to Mallory as she sat back down.

Maria had just walked into the skatepark when a familiar voice was calling out to her. She turned to see that it was Gabby, Kinsley and Kellen. She walked over to them and as she did she turned to Kinsley who started to ask her a few questions. She shook her head when asked about Julio and William. "Haven't seen them thought they would be here...Oh look!" said Maria as she nudge her head towards the other entrance where Julio and William were just entering with their bikes and of course William's dog Monk was with them. "Yo guys!" said Maria to William and Julio who looked over to the group and shortly joined them. Maria kneeled down and wrapped her arms around Monk, she couldn't resist hugging dogs and Monk didn't seem to mind.

"Hey guys what's up?" asked William to the group. "We need your help with something...important." said Maria to William and Julio who both looked at one another and shrugged. "Sure why not." said William casually while Julio smirked. "Like how important is it? Are we having another party?" asked Julio to the group. Maria just rolled her eyes and shook her head lightly. When asked about her neck she just smirked and removed the bandage to reveal the tattoo she had gotten from Ayako. "Went to Ayako and got this baby." said Maria to her friends. She took Kinsley's hand as she extended it to help her up.

Julio had a surprising look on his face like his eyes were about to pop out of his head. "Yo that's fucking sick man! But you know your mom is gunna kill you like I'm saying she is gunna cut that shit off!" said Julio to Maria. "It looks cool." said William to Maria who smiled. "Thanks Will and as for my mom I'm not worried. We all have to rebel at some point right?" asked Maria half jokingly. She then turned to Kinsley and smirked at her friend. "You should get one I think you could pull it off." said Maria to Kinsley before deciding to change the subject. "So I was thinking maybe we should go get some beer and mourn the people we lost." said Maria to the group. It was then Julio spoke up. "Well we can't go to the arcade I mean Callie is working there and that fine piece of ass is always following the rules." said Julio. Maria let out a heavy sigh and thought about it for a moment and a smirk appeared on her face. "How about we ask Troy and the bikers? They were pretty cool back in the forest." said Maria to the group.

Mallory listened to George explain the situation with their attackers but was disappointed to hear they didn't have any more information. If it was like George said it seemed unlikely the attackers would pursue this far. Still, Mallory would have the militia on heightened alert for at least a while longer just in case. Yumiko gave Mallory doctor Arroway's notebook and she just looked at it for a second and sighed. It seemed having to survive her child was too much, even for an educated mind like doctor Arroway's. Mallory only felt Ellie's loss though.

"It didn't take long for people to go bad." Mallory spoke. "I myself came all the way back from California. It was about three months in and people had already turned into raiders. I survived an attack while holed up in a camp in the Mojave desert and escaped cannibals in Georgia so I don't take chances with them. I already have a... 'discrete' task force looking into your attackers, and my militia will be on high alert for the time being."

Mallory put the found weapons back in her desk before facing George and Yumiko again.

"Anyway, for the moment you and your people are going to have to stay in the tents in the town square." Mallory continued. "We have a few free houses in town but we weren't expecting having to receive this many people at once. We need time to get the other houses habitable again, make sure they're safe. Might I suggest you make a list of who gets housed first, starting with the sick and elderly? Also, I'd like to know the people with special medical needs as well so my medical staff can follow them up. As for the rest, I'd like them to attend an orientation of sorts tomorrow morning in the auditorium, give you guys the rundown of this place, rules, etcetera. I promise to make it as entertaining as possible."

Mallory carefully smiled at George and Yumiko. That was all right? They seemed fatigued, best to let them go for the evening.

"That's it for now." Mallory said. "Like I said before, our facilities and my people are at your disposal. Unless there's anything else?"

Mallory waited to see if George or Yumiko had any remarks, and made a mental note to go inform Claudia on everything afterwards. She knew her friend didn't like to be kept in the dark and Mallory already feared Claudia's reaction when she'd tell her she already had the teens looking into Dagon.

Ziggy and her friends had been sitting in silence on the steps in front of the school. The evening sun's rays were a welcome distraction from the pain in her arms, but they couldn't warm up the numbness she felt inside. Suddenly though, the sun was eclipsed. Ziggy opened her eyes to see Aubrey and Blake standing in front of her and her friends.

"Hey, good to see you're up." Blake said. "How are you feeling?"

"Hey." Aubrey said, carefully waving her hand.

Ziggy looked up but couldn't keep her eyes locked with neither Blake nor Aubrey. The anaesthesia hadn't quite worn off yet and it made her dizzy.

"Still here." Ziggy answered. She couldn't say she was alive because she didn't feel that way. There was a silence before Blake spoke again.

"Look... Ziggy, Thomas, Brody,... I just wanted to say...." Blake started speaking.

"Don't man, just don't." Thomas said. "I mean, I appreciate what you're trying to do but we can't man, not now. Please."

"Alright, just... take care of yourselves... of eachother." Blake said. "I hope I'll see you all later."

"It's okay Blake." Ziggy said. "We'll talk later okay?"

Blake nodded at them, then turned around and started walking. Aubrey just carefully waved again. "Bye." she spoke, then went after Blake.

"Blake! Blake, hold up! Wait for me!" Aubrey spoke, trying to catch up with him.

"Just go Aubrey!" Blake said. "Go like, report to Magna and the others. Go make plans to get outta here or something!"

"What!?"

"Oh come on, I overheard you and the others talk. Don't pretend like you don't know!"

"I'm not pretending anything! You seemed to be conveniently forgetting the part where I said I'm not leaving people who need our help! Or did you not catch me bloody saying that!?"

Blake stopped and faced Aubrey, saying nothing. Aubrey just looked down and shuffled her foot.

"Look, you're not the only one who got to know them alright?" Aubrey said. "I... care about them too. And it's been a long time since I saw people risking so much for others, even sacrificing themselves. Even if I hadn't gotten to know them I'd still feel obliged to repay such kindness."

"Then you're not leaving?"

"No."

Aubrey shook her head. A tear rolled down her eye. Blake nodded at her to follow him. They were going to see about helping any way they could.

With Maria came Julio, William and Kellen and now the group was complete, save for Josie aka Jozel. Where Sophia was seemed anyone's guess. Kinsley figured they had at least tried to make friends with her. One could only bring a horse to water after all. And speaking of animals, Kinsley petted Monk when he stood against the ramp all enthusiastic and happy like to greet his favorite people. Kinsley's eyes widened and her jaw dropped when she saw Maria had gotten a tattoo though. It was super cool but Julio was right though.

"I'm with Julio on this one!" Kinsley said. "Like, have you forgotten who your mom is Mar!? She's gonna take a cheese grater to your neck!"

Kinsley chuckled, she'd love to see Camila go apeshit when she'd find out her daughter had gotten a tattoo. Maria suggested Kinsley would get a tattoo and Kinsley figured why not. Her parents could complain but what would it matter. Life expectancy for young people wasn't exactly high these days.

"Well I do like the tribal stuff, like the tataus on Claudia's arms." Kinsley said. "And Allie got away with it when she got her tattoo back in the day."

"Do you even need to suck up to Claudia anymore?" Gabby asked. "You're already her favorite!"

"Am not! And her tattoos are supercool!"

"Well, they're alright."

Maria suggested mourning the dead but that was about the last thing Kinsley wanted to think about, especially after being ankle deep in human misery for most of the day. And the wake was already over, wasn't it? Beer sounded good though and the bikers seemed the best way to get it. Ziggy may have been back but telling Callie she could sell beer to minors was probably the least of her worries right now.

"Troy?" Kellen asked. "I don't know guys, he's pretty close with Mallory..."

"Kelso, Mal's fine with it, trust me!" Kinsley answered. "Shit, even Claudia let us drink alcohol in the forest! It's just Callie who has a stick up her ass about it! Relax willya?"

"Typical boy scout!" Julio laughed. "Relax bro! Mallory's cool!"

Kinsley shook her head and smiled. Getting promoted seemed to have put Kellen back into boy scout mode. She didn't know if she could blame him though, Kinsley herself felt less at ease knowing Mallory was counting on them to find things out about Dagon.

"So I'm thinking bonfire at the beach?" Kinsley said. "I really feel like taking it easy tonight."

At that point Dylan, one of Bryan's friends, rode up the ramp with his skateboard. He jumped off his board, grabbed it and stood in front of Kinsley.

"Whoa, did someone say bonfire!?" Dylan asked. "Awesome, what time?"

"Yeah, no. You're not invited." Kinsley answered. "Besides don't you guys have like Pokémon stuff to do?"

Dylan grinned, then turned around and put his hands around his mouth.

"YO BRYAN!" Dylan yelled. "GO TELL YOUR MOM YOUR SISTER AND HER FRIENDS ARE HAVING AN ORGY AT THE BEACH! WITH BOOZE AND WEED!"

Kinsley wanted to jump up and grab the kid but William beat her to the punch. He grabbed Dylan and held him in a headlock, like Claudia had taught them.

"Listen you fucking kindergartener!" William said. "If you're gonna do some snitching, at least have the guts to do it yourself!"

"Will, come on man I was just kidding!" Dylan answered. "We just wanna have some fun too! C'mon let us hang with you guys!"

Kinsley rolled her eyes. She gestured at William to let Dylan go.

"Fuck it." Kinsley said. "But you guys have gotta be cool, because if you're not we'll demonstrate some real Claudia shit on you!"

"Supercool Kinsley, right guys?" Dylan said as he looked at Bryan and the others. They all nodded in agreement.

Kinsley faced her younger brother. "Not a word to Mom or Allie you hear or we're both fucked!" she spoke.

"I'm not stupid you know!" Bryan answered.

Kinsley grinned. "Jury's still out on that one."

Kinsley then faced her own friends. Behind her Bryan flipped her off, which Kinsley answered with giving her little brother the finger herself. She could just slap herself for not talking any quieter.

"C'mon Kins, we'll get them real fucked up and take pictures of them!" Gabby said. "It'll be fun! Besides, you think they're gonna punish the people who..."

Gabby realized they hadn't told William and Julio about what they had been up to for Mallory just yet. Kinsley picked up on it and looked at it.

"We uhh... need to talk to you guys before we head to the beach." Kinsley said. "Tell you something... Maria?"

Kinsley hoped Maria would tell William and Julio about what they had been up to, looking into a sea-monster worshipping cult for Mallory. She just hoped the boys wouldn't be too angry about not involving them sooner.

Maria just smirked as she heard Kinsley and Julio's responses to her tattoo. "It's fine I can handle my mom no problema (problem)." she said to them. When it was brought up that Kinsley was Claudia's favorite Maria just chuckled. "I mean I think you are her favorite as well." said Maria to Kinsley. It seemed Maria idea of asking the bikers was the best option but Kellen seemed worried and she couldn't blame him since he just got the promotion still Maria just reached out to him putting her hand on his shoulder. "Look dude nothing is gunna happen alright? The bikers are cool and no one will mess with us. That sounds like a win-win to me." said Maria to Kellen. When the idea of a bonfire and the beach came about Maria nodded as she liked that idea that was until Dylan one of Bryan's friends overheard them but seeing William make quick work of him made her chuckle. It seemed that Bryan and his friends were gunna joined them now which was fine with Maria. I mean the more the merrier right?

It was then time to tell Julio and William what they were up to and Maria was the one to break the news to them. "So guys...We were tasked with researching the people who attacked the train because from what Kellen found out there is a strange symbol on their weapons. So Mallory tasked us with looking into the symbol and what we could find. It was originally gunna be just us but I wanted to include you guys in seeing as how we are all friends. So...You guys cool?" asked Maria to them. A moment of silence went by and William smirked as did Julio. "It's cool no worries." said William as he stuck out his fist for a bump as did Julio. Maria gave them both fist bumps as she smiled at them. "Alright awesome!" said Maria with a smile on her face she then turned to Kinsley and the others. "Alright let's go get some beer!" said Maria to her friends as she lead the way to where the bikers hung out at.

It was quite a walk from the skatepark to Leary's Landing but Maria had never been inside so she wouldn't know what to expect. Her dad always told her to stay away from Troy and the other bikers and that nothing good could come from them but they opened up the bar to the public so they couldn't all be that bad right?

Once there they were at the entrance and Maria could see they did their own redecorating with changing the Irish flag and replacing it with a Demon Dogs flag. Maria could hear loud heavy metal music from inside as well as chatter. "Doesn't seem so bad." said Maria to her friends. She spoke to soon as a big biker came out throwing a drunk man to the floor who stumbled to his feet. The man clearly had to much to drink. "H-Hey man all I wanted to do was talk to the pretty bartender. I just don't see the-" said the man before he was cutoff by the big biker. "The problem is that bartender is with the President you dumb sack of shit! Now leave Harris go sleep it off!" said the big biker. Harris stumbled off cursing to himself as he left.

The big biker crossed his arms as he looked at the kids in front of him. A moment of silence passed and Kellen shook his head and started to walk away but William and Juilo stopped him. "Hey...Gunderson is it cool if we come in?" asked Maria somewhat nervously as she saw the name on his vest.

Gunderson just looked at the kids for a moment and smiled. "Sure it's cool just don't cause any trouble and you won't have to deal with me." said Gunderson as he smiled at the teens and slapped Kellen on the back who jumped. Once inside Maria looked around in awe as she liked it and in a way she could see this being her home away from home.

Maria smiled as she looked around and noticed the bartender that caused Harris to get thrown out and she was pretty but it quickly hit Maria that she had seen the woman before when she and the others snuck into the pool area to hangout and drink she was walking her dog. "Hey it's that woman that was walking her dog when we snuck into the pool area." said Maria to her friends. She was serving drinks and paying no mind to them.

But she and her friends were on a mission and that was to get beer for the bonfire. She noticed at one of the booths was a few misfits from her school they were sitting around just drinking and hanging out. "Yo Johnny did you hear about what happened at the track a few days ago?" asked Rick to Johnny who shook his head. "Nah I was out sick. What happened?" asked Johnny. "So apparently Claudia destroyed the kids. Man you should have been there. They were in tears!" said Rick to Johnny who laughed. Maria walked over to their table and greeted them. "Hey Johnny have you seen Troy?" asked Maria to Johnny who looked surprised as did his friends. "Uhh...Hey Maria this is a surprise." said Johnny to Maria.

"I think he is in the backroom with a few of his boys." said Johnny to Maria who smiled. "Thank you." said Maria to Johnny. She then left the misfits at their table. It was pretty crowded so you had to push your way to get to where you were going. "Come on guys!" yelled Maria to her friends over the loud music.

Troy was in the back with some of the Demon Dogs and he was chilling at their private bar having a beer while Paco and Max were playing cards. Roger and Cutler were playing pool and Grant the prospect was guarding the door. The Demon Dogs liked their down time so they have their own little space also known as a "Man Cave". Troy took a sip from his Heineken while he watched Cutler and Roger play. Roger took his shot he was stripes while Cutler was solids. "So Big Man when are you gunna nut up and ask Claudia on a date?" asked Roger to Cutler. The bikers just chuckled at the question and Cutler just smirked and shrugged. "Well you can't just ask someone like Claudia out-" said Cutler before he was cutoff by Paco. "You are being a pussy man." said Paco not even eyeing Cutler as he was focusing on his cards. The bikers once again chuckled but Cutler just shook his head. "Nah with a woman like that you gotta wait and find the right moment." said Cutler. Troy took another sip from his beer and chimed in. "What's the right moment? Dude just go over knock on her door and be a man. Seriously man I think she has a thing for you." said Troy to Cutler who just shook his head and let out a heavy sigh.

Roger took his shot and missed, Cutler was up now and he lined up his shot before shooting and getting it in. Troy then got up from his seat going behind the bar and pulling out a bottle of Jack Daniels. "Here Big Man you could use some courage." said Troy with a smirk. Cutler walked over and took the bottle opening it and taking a swig from it.

He smiled as the warm whiskey burned his throat. "Alright boys...Wish me luck!" he said to the Demon Dogs. He then took the bottle and left heading to Claudia's house. Grant was at the door when Maria and her friends walked over to him. "Hey is Troy in?" asked Maria to Grant who crossed his arms and looked at the teens. "Maybe...Who's asking?" asked Grant to Maria and her friends. "I'm Maria, Troy knows me I need to talk to him it's important." said Maria to Grant who looked at them once more. "Wait here." said Grant to the teens. He opened the door going through before closing it. Troy looked at Grant as he entered. "What's up Prospect?" asked Troy to Grant. "I got Maria outside with some kids." said Grant to Troy who looked slightly surprised but he nodded at Grant to let them in. Moments later Grant opened the door and looked at Maria and her friends. "Come on in." said Grant to Maria and the others. Maria walked in and as she did she noticed the other Demon Dogs around.

"What's up Skippy?" asked Troy to Maria who looked at her friends wondering if they should ask but they were already here so it was to late to back out. "Hey Fox...I was wondering if me and my friends here could have some beer? You see we were gunna have a bonfire and well...Beers and bonfires go hand in hand." said Maria with a smirk to Troy who smirked back. Troy looked at the other Demon Dogs and that's when Paco spoke up.

"Fuck it why not? Let the little misfits have their fun." said Paco with a smirk to Troy. The bikers chuckled and Troy gave Maria a nod. "You have my blessing kids now don't anything crazy...Well not to crazy." said Troy half jokingly to them. Troy got three wooden crates from behind the bar and filled them with all kinds of beer. He handed the crates to the boys and that's when he noticed Kellen. "Hey aren't you Mal's whipping boy?" asked Troy with a smirk to Kellen who seemed nervous. "N-No I just got promoted." said Kellen slightly nervous. Troy looked surprise and he let out a laugh as he nodded. "Did you now? Well shit this calls for a celebration." said Troy as he went back behind the bar and pulled out a bottle of Tequila handing it to Maria. "Have fun kids and if anyone from the Milita ask...You got it from somewhere else." said Troy with a smirk.

Maria looked at the bottle like her eyes were about to pop out of her skull. "Oh boy." said Maria outloud and the bikers got a laugh out of it. "Uhh thank you Fox." said Maria. She started to walk out with her friends until Troy called out to her. "Hey Maria is Sara alright?" asked Troy. Maria looked down at the ground for a moment before turning to face him. "She's...Hanging in there." said Maria softly to Troy who nodded. Maria and her friends left the backroom with their stuff before running into Johnny and his friends who were still at their booth and they looked surprised as they saw the booze in front of them. "Holy shit! Having a party or something?" asked Johnny to Maria. Maria moved in closer as it was hard to hear him over the loud music. "We are having a bonfire you guys can come if you want just keep it on the downlow." said Maria to Johnny who smirked. "No problem Rockstar." said Johnny to Maria who blushed lightly. "Alright later!" said Maria to Johnny and his friends.

They were now outside the bar and Maria looked at her friends as William looked like he was in disbelief. "Do you think it was a good idea to invite Johnny and his friends?" asked William to Maria who shrugged. "Come on guys we need to expand our group and besides who knows maybe someone might get lucky." said Maria with a wink to Kinsley.

Sara was next to Ziggy on the steps when they were joined by Blake and Aubrey. It was a nice to see some friendly faces but they just needed sometime. When they left Sara spoke up. "I'm gunna go open the arcade bar I just...Need to do something." said Sara to Ziggy. Laura looked at her friend and then the others. "I think I'm gunna head home pack some of my things so I can move into the bar" said Laura to her friends. "Do you need me to come with you?" asked Sara to Laura who shook her head. "No worries I'm sure my mother is downing her fifth drink of bourbon so I'll be fine." said Laura to her friends half jokingly. "I'll catch you all later." said Laura to her friends as she left. Sara then put her arm gently around Ziggy and looked to her. "I love you Ziggy...We all do." said Sara softly as she looked to Ziggy. "Come on let's get to my house. I'm sure my folks would love to have a big dinner party tonight." suggested Sara to her friends.

Magna was helping with bring in the supplies and also taking little bits here and there for her group. While she felt sorry that these people lost some of their own she had to look out for her family. She was in her tent with Luke and Bernie. "So I'm thinking we need to help these people I mean they helped us." said Bernie to Luke and Magna. Luke nodded while Magna was just being cautious. "We help them just be careful okay? For all we know this could be a labor camp or whatever." said Magna to Luke and Bernie. "Well let's wait until Yumiko comes back if she says it's good then I say we return the favor and pull our weight." said Luke to Bernie and Magna.

Telling William and Julio went easier than expected, so soon after they were off to the former Irish pub that nowadays housed the bikers. Kinsley could hear their music, some kind of subgenre metal coming from the inside, and sighed. As much as she liked rock music, after the day she had everything just seemed too loud and she didn't look forward entering. She could feel some tension in her forehead, but it hadn't quite grown into a headache just yet. Then, just about as they wanted to enter, some dude got thrown out like you'd see in the movies.

"Bad Yelp review huh?" Kinsley said to the big biker that tossed the man out.

Entering the bar didn't make it the tension in her head any better. It was just as Kinsley expected; arid, yet more humid in the bar section. Warm air combined with the overwhelming smell of wood and sweat. Some of the boys from school were there, but even though they were misfits like them Kinsley didn't know them all that well. She let Maria do the talking. Soon, they found themselves in the back room of the bar. Kinsley just kept silent while Maria asked for the beer. When Troy asked Kellen if he was Mallory's whipping boy Kinsley wanted to speak up though. Wasn't Troy himself pretty much Mallory's whipping boy? Kinsley would've liked Kellen to stand up for himself but as it was they got a bottle of tequila out of it in the process.

Just as they were about to leave Maria invited Johnny and the other guys to come along. William objected and Kinsley shared that sentiment, it would mean less beer for them. Maria mentioned expanding their group and maybe getting lucky. Kinsley just raised an eyebrow at her friend though.

"By 'someone' you mean you right?" Kinsley joked at Maria.

"Pshh! Since when are you such a prude!" Gabby said.

"Well you know, you get it drilled in your head that giving birth is pretty much a death sentence for over a year..."

"That's horrible! Who said that!?"

"Claudia. Back in the forest. And she was right though, we didn't have an actual medical professional until after Mallory arrived with nurse Cassie. Remember what Claudia said guys?"

"IF YOU WANT TO FORNICATE, MASTURBATE!" Kinsley and the others from the forest said in unison, then laughed.

"Jesus! She might as well have given you guys chastity belts!" Gabby said.

"Oh she would have, if she had any!" Kinsley laughed. "Can't say she wasn't right though. The forest was no place to give birth, let alone take care of a baby!"

"Yeah but come on! Now we got your aunt, we got nurse Cassie, there's plenty of medical stuff..."

"Well shit Gabs, I'm not saying you can't have sex. I'm saying I'm keeping my V-card tucked away til someone finds a boat load of profylactics!"

Kinsley wasn't bothered telling people she was still a virgin. She just didn't care and wasn't obsessed with losing her virginity like others had been. What the hell did it even matter anymore?

"Now come on, we got a bit more prep work to do." Kinsley said. "Let's go to my house and..."

"Hey look! Is that Melanie and Kelly in that militia jeep?" Gabby interrupted Kinsley, pointing at the passing military vehicle.

Kinsley looked and grinned. It was Melanie and Kelly and they didn't seem to happy. And were their hands on their backs? Kinsley's grin got wiped from her face after she saw her sister Allie in the front passenger seat of the jeep.

"Hey look! Their hands are strapped behind their backs!" Julio said. "They got busted for something yo!"

"Ohhh this is too good to be true!" Gabby spoke. "Dammit I wish I still had my phone!"

"I can't wait to know how they fucked up!" Kinsley added.

Melanie had been pretty much on Kinsley's case since they were children, and even more so after shit hit the fan just because of Kinsley's family always having been the ones in charge. Melanie had even stepped up her game after the first PE lesson by Claudia. Seeing this was pure gold to Kinsley.

"Should we check it out?" William asked. Even though Kinsley was curious she did not want to run into Allie again and deal with her shit.

"Nah, let's just savor the view for now." Kinsley answered. "I don't wanna run into Allie again at the school. Let's just go to my house, I've got a cart which we can use to move all the stuff to the cove. You guys coming?"

Kinsley then led her friends to her place, right next to Mallory's house. She stuck her head out making sure neither her mom nor her dad was at one of the windows watching.

"Alright, I'll go get the boombox upstairs." Kinsley said. "You guys go round the side. The cart's in the shed out back. Put the booze in and load up some firewood! I'll be right back!"

Kinsley then entered her house through the front door, her mother Willa was in the living room cleaning a rifle.

"Hey mom! Just pickin' something up!" Kinsley said as she approached the stair case. "I'll be back later!"

"Hoooold it!" Willa spoke. "Come here a minute!"

Kinsley squinted her eyes. "Not good." she mumbled to herself.

"Yes mommy?" Kinsley said as sweet as she could.

"There a reason your friends are sneaking past the house?" Willa asked.

Kinsley cringed. Her mom had been a cop too in Portland, and on top of that she was a Faraday. You just couldn't fool a Faraday.

"Just... getting some firewood." Kinsley said. "We're having a little... bonfire at the beach?"

"Oh, and will they serve 'refreshments' at this bonfire?" Willa asked. "And who will attend this soiree apart from you?"

Kinsley felt defeated. There just was no point lying to her mom. Like her uncle Abe and Mallory, she could smell a lie a mile away. Kinsley kinda wished she could tell her mom what Mallory had them do during the afternoon though.

"Just the regular gang mom." Kinsley answered. "And I don't know, maybe someone might take some drinks? If there's any left at all in town?"

"Alright, fine." Willa answered. "Have a good time and be careful."

"Wait... just like that?"

"Just like that. If they trust you enough with other people's lives to come knocking on our door at six in the morning I'm trusting you're responsible enough to have a little downtime."

"Wow mom, where's this coming from?"

"Just don't make me regret it! Don't do anything stupid, or anyone stupid for that matter!"

"MOM! EWW!"

"And keep the sand out of your gun if you're going to the beach!"

Deciding not to look a gift horse in the mouth Kinsley, somewhat surprised, went upstairs to get her boombox. Her dad Bill joined Willa having her the conversation between mother and daughter.

"You sure about this?" Bill asked.

"The world already took her normal youth from her." Willa said. "The least we can do is try and give some back."

Having taken the boombox, Kinsley came back downstairs and went out the back door, waving at her parents. As soon as she reached her friends in the backyard she helped getting supplies in the cart.

"No need to sneak guys..." Kinsley said. "Mom already saw you but she's totally cool with us going."

"Wait... what?" Gabby asked. "You're shitting us right?"

Kinsley just shook her head. "Well, I think we're good to go." she said. "You guys comin'?"

Yumiko and George listened to Mal as she explained what the beginning was like for her and it seemed like she had quite the journey from raiders to cannibals. Yumiko in a way could relate she had killed people in the past to protect her family. In the end all that mattered was them and nothing would stand in their way to find a safe place. When George heard that they would need a list of people who were elderly or sick to get the first houses he smiled at Mallory. "I'll get right on that Commander." said George to Mallory. Yumiko looked at him with a confused look. 'Would he actually do that? I'll make the list just in case.' she thought. When asked if there was anything else they need George stood up and shook his head. "No Commander nothing else from me but I assure you we will do what we can to help you out." said George. After he said he left and now Yumiko was all alone with Mallory. "I'll uhh...Bring that list. George is a good man forgetful at times but good." said Yumiko softly. She started to walk towards the door and had her hand on the handle but stopped. "If Magna starts to give your people trouble please don't hold it against her just come to me, I can handle her." said Yumiko. After hearing Mallory's response she left and headed towards the tents.

Yumiko went back to where her group was at and after searching through a number of tents she found them. It was nearly dark still though it was nice to be in a safe place for now. She quickly noticed Aubrey, Michelle and Ted were not with them. "Where are the others?" asked Yumiko to her members. Magna got up from her cot and hugged Yumiko. The British woman smiled and wrapped her arms around her. Magna had a soft side although it was a rare sight to see. "Ted went to go get a beer, Aubrey is with Blake and Michelle is looking after the elderly." said Bernie to Yumiko who nodded. Once Magna let her go they both sat down on a cot and Yumiko ran her fingers through her long hair. "So what happened?" asked Magna to Yumiko. She then looked to the two sisters Connie and Kelly who were in the tent with them and she included them in the conversation with sign language. "Well the commander Mallory told us we can stay and if the people who attacked the train come for us she had no intent on giving any of us up." said Yumiko to her group. Magna shook her head she couldn't trust this. "I don't buy it. She says she won't but when those assholes attack her people she will sell us out like that." said Magna as she snapped her fingers. Luke just let out a sigh and looked to her. "Mags look let's just try to trust these people. I mean they lost three of their own already. Let's just do what we can to help." said Luke to Magna who was silent for a moment but nodded. "Alright we will help out but first sign of trouble and we bail." said Magna to her group who nodded.

Maria just smirked as she saw Melanie and Kelly in the jeep. Seems they got caught doing something they weren't suppose to do. But right now Maria just wanted to have fun with her friends. So they went to Kinsley's house and just like that they were in and out but Maria was surprised when Kinsley's mom let her off the hook. "That's new...Maybe my mom can take some tips from your mom." joked Maria to Kinsley. When asked if they were coming Maria just smirked at her. "Always ready for a good time!" said Maria. The gang was then off to the beach.

When they got their Maria was surprised to see how many people were there. Like a whole lot. 'Maybe telling Johnny wasn't such a good idea.' thought Maria. But then she saw people with bottles in their hands and something she never thought she would see again kegs. It was then Johnny came up to her and the others. "Yo! I told a few of the others that were in the forest with us and they brought their own refreshments. So in the words of my late great father...Party hard!" said Johnny as he took a swig from his red solo cup. Maria just smiled and turned her head as Kyle who was behind the keg offered her a beer.

"Sup homies? Want a beer?" asked Kyle to Maria and her friends. Maria just smiled and took a solo cup. "Where did you guys get the kegs?" asked Maria to Kyle who smirked. "Spiff had a stash in his basement. So...We broke in a took a few I mean seeing as how we took back the town I say we deserved it." said Kyle with a smirk to the group. Maria just looked back at her friends and smiled as she wrapped her free arm around Kinsley. "This is seriously gunna be the best night of your life!" whispered Maria to Kinsley. It was then Ray, best friend to Kyle noticed the boombox. "Oh shit we got music motherfucker!" yelled Ray as he was just tired of conversation and gossip floating around. "Put on some sick beats MC Kinsley!" said Ray to Kinsley.

As they went to the cove where they were going to have a bonfire and chill out, Kinsley was unpleasantly surprised to see there were already people there. And not a small amount, there were a lot of folks already there. Kinsley couldn't help but give Maria a bit of the stinkeye, although she didn't mean it. She just had to tell Johnny, didn't she? Johnny even admitted to telling a few others. Kyle, who was with them in the forest, and a few others were there too and had even gotten their hands on a keg which had been stolen from Spiff's house. It reminded Kinsley of a conversation her mother had with a few others. Spiff was still in a cell although apart from being an obnoxious shit he hadn't really hurt anyone. The adults weren't really sure what to do about him. If they let him go people would kill him because he was Big Dick's son. And there was a rumor that the baby in Chloe's belly was his.

"Well fuck it, they're gonna pin this on us anyway." Kinsley answered Maria when she said this was going to be the best night of her life. "Might as well make it so."

Kinsley grabbed a cup but as she put it to her mouth she paused for a moment before drinking. Having a party while the town still mourned Ayita, Cam and Ellie seemed wrong but then she remembered something Claudia said back in the forest camp when the first person had died.

"Don't mourn their passing. Rejoice that you got to know them and celebrate their lives!"

Claudia did have a way with words when she wasn't spitting them in your face. And although she probably said it back then to keep people from giving up, it seemed like the right way to deal with loss nowadays.

"Honor to the fallen." Kinsley said, then downed the entire cup of beer all at once. As Kyle gave her a refill, Ray saw the boombox Kinsley was carrying and told her to get some sick beats going. Just as Kinsley took her MP3 player Gabby snatched it out of her hands.

"Oh no no no no!" Gabby said. "We put her in charge of the music and we'll be listening to that old shit 'til the cows come home!"

"Gimme that!" Kinsley spoke as she grabbed her MP3 back. "It's not my fault you were born without a sense of culture!"

Gabby stuck out her tongue, Kinsley made a kiss-face back at her then connected the boombox through bluetooth with the MP3 player and searched for the perfect song to get the party started.

"There we go!" Kinsley said. She had more modern music on her MP3 player too of course but the largest folder consisted of classic rock. She had never been one for pop music, and preferred the old time classics and rock from the early 2000s. She was ready to start enjoying the party now.

A bit further, on a grassy dune overlooking the cove sat Claudia and Cutler. Although Cutler was happy for the alone time with Claudia, he didn't understand why she chose to spy on the party going on below them.

"So... interesting place you chose." Cutler said. "Any reason why we're not down there with them?"

"They won't let loose if I'm down there." Claudia answered. "And they're entitled to some fun."

"So why keep an eye on them at all then?"

"Because some of my prime donkeys are down there, and I don't trust some of the piggies that are with them."

"You could always, you know, tell them that you care about them."

"And risk them losing their edge? Fat chance!"

"Well, to donkeys and pigs then. And whatever other farm animals you call them."

Cutler and Claudia ticked their bottles together. Then took a swig from the beers Cutler had brought.

"So are you finally gonna grow a pair and kiss me now?" Claudia asked. "Or am I gonna have to do it myself?"

Back down below in the cove Kinsley had gotten comfortable near the bonfire, leaning against a tree log and drinking. She could already feel a slight buzz coming on, but it had been some time since she had an actual beer. "Fuck you Callie." Kinsley said as she took another gulp, and hoped Ziggy would recover soon and take over the bar again. Kinsley figured maybe Ziggy would need help with that. She'd love to become actual friends with the German girl instead of just being someone Ziggy called 'Goldilocks'.

It was then Kinsley noted a glint of bright light coming from the corner of her eye. She jerked her head around to see a couple of headlights, but they weren't consistent with the headlights of the militia vehicles. And this car wasn't loud at all, like the military vehicles the militia used.

"Oh shit it's the rich kids!" someone spoke. Kinsley saw why the cars didn't make any noise.

"What the fuck?" Gabby asked. "How are they driving that car? Didn't the militia collect every drop of gasoline in town?"

"Tesla cars." Kinsley answered. "Completely electric. That's why we didn't hear them coming."

Out of one of the Tesla Roadster's passenger side came three of the town's rich kids. At the driver's side was Adrian Mills, rich kid and 'playboy extraordinaire'.

"Hey yo, y'all are having a party without us?" Adrian spoke. "What the hell guys?"

"What do you want Ade?" Kyle asked.

"What do you mean what do I want? Just to have some fun with my peeps man!"

"We're not your 'peeps'. Never were."

"Ah man, why you gotta be like that? You're all my peeps now! Here, I come bearing gifts, check it out!"

Kyle followed Adrian to the trunk of the car, which was filled with liquor. Kyle shrugged at Ray, who looked at Kinsley.

"I'll handle it." Kinsley said to her friends. She walked over to Adrian and Kyle remembering that the Mills family was a strong supporter of Big Dick. They had been punished and the bikers that left town had pretty much emptied their house after the battle. It seemed Adrian had brought quite the amount of alcohol. Kinsley grunted though, she didn't know whether or not Adrian was genuine or if the rich kids were up to something and she didn't like it. But then again they had to forgive them at some point and could they really blame the rich people's children for collaborating with Big Dick. And would they really be dumb enough to mess with the boss's cousin?

"Fine." Kinsley said to Adrian. "We have to bury the hatchet at some point right? But I swear to God Adrian if this is some elaborate scheme to mess with us..."

"It's not, I swear!" Adrian answered. "Look I just wanna have some fun alright? You got nothing to fear from me, or any of these guys alright? I promise!"

Kinsley sighed. "Fine." she spoke. "We'll see how it goes."

"You rule Kinsley!" Adrian said. "Alright guys, we're in, let's party!"

Kinsley walked back to her friends and sat back down where she previously was before.

"You sure that was the right call?" Gabby asked.

Kinsley shrugged. "Has to start somewhere I guess."

Kinsley grabbed her cup and drank some of her beer again. She hadn't checked if Melanie was with the rich kids, but secretly hoped she was in a cell in the militia stockade somewhere for whatever crime she had perpetrated.

Maria was having a blast at the bonfire as she was hanging out with her friends. When the music came on she sung along with it. She downed two beers rather quickly and got a third one but before drinking it she decided to take a moment to get some air. She jumped for a moment as she felt a hand on her shoulder she quickly turned around to see that it was none other than Johnny who smiled at her as he saw her reaction. "You good?" asked Johnny to Maria who smiled and nodded. "Yeah just needed a moment." said Maria to Johnny who nodded.

"Yeah no problem I get it. Sometimes you just need some air, you're okay though right?" asked Johnny to Maria who nodded. "Yeah I'm fine...Wow would would of thought Johnny Young was such a gentleman?" joked Maria to Johnny who rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah whatever." said Johnny as he brushed off Maria's comment. Then the rich kids came and Maria just let out a sigh as she saw them come over as she was less then excited to see them. It seemed as if Kinsley was willing to bury the hatchet and Maria had to commend her on that still though Maria would be civil but if anyone of them tried to start anything with her or her friends then all hell was to break loose.

The night continued on and everything seemed to be going fine. Maria hung out with Johnny for a bit before deciding to go see Kinsley and the others. She sat next to Gabby letting out a sigh as she rested her head on Gabby's shoulder. "I believe we all needed this...For real after all we've been through we could use a night like this." said Maria to the others. It was then they were joined by none other then Josie and Sophia. "Uhh...Wow this is a surprise." said Maria as she lifted her head off Gabby's shoulder. Josie just smiled at the group while Sophia just sat down huddling her legs together closely. "What up my peeps?" asked Josie to the group. Sophia just nodded and sat there. While Josie had a drink in her hand Sophia didn't at least not right now.

Josie was all smiles as she hugged Maria and one could see she was tipsy. "I missed you guys since our last hangout." said Josie to the group. Maria just put her arm around Josie and she could see girl was wearing a black beanie and Maria took it off her. "Now, now no reason to cover up your head." said Maria with a smirk as she took the beanie. Josie just smiled at the group as she let out a soft sigh. "Feels good to let my hair breath." joked Josie. Sophia just sat their quietly as she looked at the fire. Meanwhile Cutler and Claudia were having their own little private party. After Claudia asked the question wither the big biker would finally grow a pair he just chuckled and smirked as he looked at her for a few moments before leaning in and kissing her. It was passionate to say the least. He stopped for a moment and took off his vest and shirt. Now it was cold but that didn't bother him.

His hand brushed a few strains of her hair out of her face and he smirked as he looked at his vest for a moment then her. "I think you would look pretty damn sexy in my vest." said Cutler he then leaned in and whispered in her ear. "And maybe nothing else on." whispered Cutler in Claudia's ear.
