"Mmm wer wie was?" (Mmm who how what?) Ziggy mumbled as she was woken up from the car door of Abamo being closed. She sat up and saw Sara passing by through the window. Ziggy laid down again and just stared at the ceiling of the car. Well it was morning, and truth be told she had slept like a baby. She wiped the grains from her eyes and put on her underwear, careful not to wake Ayita. She couldn't help but smile at seeing her lover sleep, so peaceful, so beautiful...
Ziggy figured it would be a shame to wake Ayita now and carefully opened the back door, grabbing her clothes and weapons and closing it as gently as she possibly could. It was a bit chilly standing in her underwear in the morning so she got dressed as quickly as she could. Still half-asleep, and in a force of habit Ziggy put on her old clothes instead of the fresh ones she had put on after their shower the night before. By the time she realized it she was already fully dressed.
"Ugh! Gute Morgen Ziggy!" (Ugh, good morning Ziggy!) Ziggy said to herself and facepalming. "Wach auf Dumkopf!" (Wake up dummy!)
But not wanting to go back in the car and waking Ayita she decided to keep her old clothes on. Also, there was certain comfort in wearing these clothes and there was a big chance they might get dirty on their excursion to Bar Harbor. She then put on the makeshift dropleg holster and swung her rifle over her back. They should really see Justin and the others about getting more bullets before making the trip across.
Ziggy then went over to the sniper twins and and Sara, who was dressed in a dress. Well putting your old clothes on was one thing, but wearing a dress to where they were about to go was just plain silly.
"Morning everyone." Ziggy said. "Already practicing I see?"
Ziggy gave Sara a hug and gave the twins a quick wave.
"Sara Liebchen I love seeing you in a dress but you really should put on something else when we go to the island." Ziggy said as she rubbed over Sara's cold upperarm. She then turned to the twins.
"Can you guys spare some ammo?" Ziggy asked. "I need point three-oh-eight caliber rounds for my rifle and nine millimeters for my Glock."
Seemed as they gave the clothing Ziggy thought it would be okay to ask for ammo. It's not like in time they wouldn't give anything back. It was then Ziggy spotted a walker in the distance coming out of the woods.
"Deadhead, eleven o'clock." Ziggy said as she cocked her rifle. "Do you guys want to get him or should I?"
Shooting would probably wake up everyone but then again daylight was burning. And Ziggy was dying to get going. But definitely after having breakfast first.
