As Justin took point Alexandra limped behind him. The pain was ever-present, reminding her that she'd been slow enough to have gotten shot, but she fought past it as much as she could help. Justin had done a fantastic job patching her back up, so she knew that as long as she took it relatively easy there was almost no chance of the wound opening back up. Like Justin, she kept her head on a swivel, making sure that none of the bodies that they past had intact heads. She had to admit though, the girls had done very well. Their father had certainly taught them well, and Alexandra knew now that he was exactly what they said he was.
"Good point," agreed Alexandra, admittedly forgetting about the fact that the firefight that they'd just concluded would have drawn a lot of attention, both from the dead and the living. "Just a quick search then," she added quickly, glancing over the bodies once more. Justin put a round into the head of the leader, splattering what was surprisingly brain matter onto the ground. Given how idiotic the man was, she was surprised that he had any at all.
"Eh, I'll live, and we might as well," she responded to his question about searching to see if they had anything other than gas. "Might make getting shot a little bit more worth it." Naturally, she was joking. Medical supplies were something that were at a premium, even the most basic over the counter drug being several times its weight in gold. Of course, gold wasn't worth much either these days. Ammunition then. Maybe ammunition would take currency's place. Who knew?
On hearing what Justin had to say about them potentially hiding out in the back, Alexandra thought about it. Either they fished them out and prevented a problem arising from leaving any survivors, such as getting shot at when they were filling gas. Or, they hoped that if there were any survivors that they'd have the decency to stay hidden until they were gone. Either way, Alexandra didn't like it. "So, either we go in there and root them out, or hope they don't shoot at us when we're filling gas," said Alexandra, her tone implying that she really didn't like their options either way.
